Position Summary
The Operations Associate will provide essential support to the Director of Operations to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of The Wright Community School. This role involves preparing and setting up for events, coordinating with various stakeholders, assisting with enrollment processes, and helping maintain facilities, systems, and procedures. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working around children in a school setting. Candidates must have the flexibility to work at least 15 hours per week, including occasional evenings and weekends, as needed for school events and programs.
Key Responsibilities

Operational Support:
- Assist the Director of Operations in daily tasks, scheduling, and problem-solving.
- Monitor and maintain systems and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.

Event Coordination:
- Prepare materials and resources needed for events and school activities.
- Set up and break down event spaces (e.g., room arrangement, technology needs).
- Communicate event details and requirements with staff, volunteers, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Provide on-site support during evening or weekend events.

Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for parents, vendors, and community partners.
- Relay important information, updates, and deadlines in a clear, timely manner.

Enrollment Support:
- Assist with new student enrollment, including processing applications and maintaining enrollment records.
- Coordinate with families and staff to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Facilities & Systems:
- Help manage school facilities by reporting and tracking maintenance needs.
- Support the implementation and oversight of organizational systems (filing, record-keeping, etc.).

General Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for operations-related activities.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and distributing supplies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma (required).

Experience:
- Prior experience in administrative or operations roles preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus.

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
