Job Purpose: To keep plant and office clean and follow all processes in compliance with plant regulations.
Must be able to pass background check and drug screen and physical. Have reliable transportation and excellent attendance
To maintain the cleanliness of the physical plant and equipment, including the building structure and process equipment on assigned shift. Follows all sanitation processes in compliance with all company, local, state and federal food sanitation standards. Follows all Compliance Management System procedures (CMS’s). Ensures compliance for work documentation while nurturing a positive team environment on shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing tasks as described and assigned by Manager
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the physical plant and equipment to be audit ready every day.
- Must be able to multi-task with minimal supervision.
- Must work as a team player, ensuring cleaning specifications are achieved and in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communicate well with other team members.
- Assist in other areas as assigned by Quality Manager
- Must follow Company’s GMP’s, CMS’s, SOP’s, plant rules, other policies, and codes of conduct.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Complies with sanitation and housekeeping operations in accordance with cGMP’s, SOP’s and HACCP policies and procedures.
- Must follow line-specific cleaning and sanitation instructions.
- Follow sanitation procedures for proper chemical solutions use, and proper concentrations so that it is not harmful to workers or equipment.
Duties and Day-to-Day Responsibilities, but not limited to the following:
- General housekeeping in warehouse and office areas (taking out trash, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping of the floors, cleaning up any messes or spills). Keeps the building’s interior and exterior clean and orderly.
- Follows all safety procedures and participate in safety training. Maintains safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and PPE. Reports any injury, accident, or unsafe condition immediately to supervisor.
- Follows all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Processes).
- Supports, and comply with all quality management systems, continuous improvement
programs, food safety, employee safety, preventative maintenance programs. - Follows all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
