Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating arrangements.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide assistance as needed to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Utilize POS systems, such as Micros POS, for managing orders and processing payments.
- Assist with any special requests or accommodations for guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Uphold high standards of customer service and guest relations at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling guest inquiries over the phone is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment are essential qualities for success in this role.
