- Ensure the safety of all swimmers during lessons
- Enforce pool rules and regulations
- Conduct classes according to YMCA standards
- Develop lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Attend all scheduled classes and provide substitute plans when necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience preferred
- CPR/AED/O2/First Aid certification
- Lifeguard certification preferred
- Successful completion of the Y's swim test
- Flexible schedule with availability to work days, nights, and weekends
