Description

Employees that fall under the Barista position will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional customer service at The Triple M restaurant. Exceptional customer service is achieved by accurately and efficiently taking food orders from guests, entering the orders into the POS system, preparing and delivering food and drinks to our guest with a warm and inviting attitude, and additionally, answering any questions our guests may have to the best of their ability.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proper food safety and hygiene guidelines must be followed at all times. Including: proper uniform, handwashing, dating all food, discarding unsafe food, properly receiving and storing food, properly cleaning all food prep areas, and preventing foodborne illness.
• Be able to interact with guests and provide an elevated level of interest and customer service
• • Be comfortable processing payments via cash and card methods
  • Accurately enter orders into a POS system
• • Must understand proper methods for checking identification and age requirements for alcohol service
  • Any employee serving alcohol must be TIPS certified according to that state of Wyoming
  • Possess a high level of detail attentiveness and an ability to communicate effectively with a team and management
  • Be able to multi-task and complete tasks quickly and efficiently as directed
  • Be able to work both supervised and unsupervised
• • Be able to maintain and exceed cleanliness standards for all areas of The Triple M restaurant.
• Responsibilities:
• • Arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready to work (Do not arrive at shift start time and spend 10 minutes “Getting Ready.”)
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of both food and beverage menus.
• • Complete all side duties at the beginning, during, and at the end of the shift including but not limited to: polishing silverware, restocking all service and prep areas, washing glasses, plates, and kitchen equipment, brewing coffee and/or tea, maintaining tidiness of restaurant, bar, and kitchen etc.
  • Take guests’ food and beverage orders in a timely manner, assisting with any questions or special accommodations they may require.
  • Ensure that food and beverages are delivered to the guests in a timely manner.
  • Utilize the Point of Sale system to manage checks and process payments.
  • Communicate to supervisors or management whenever an issue arises including but not limited to guest conflict, employee conflict, excessive intoxication, underage alcohol service, low or no availability of food or beverages, or any situation that involves support from management.
• • Complete any additional tasks as delegated by management
  • Attend staff meetings as scheduled by management.
• Physical Demands:
• • Must be able to be on your feet and/or walk continuously during a shift up to 8 hours.
• • Must be able to lift 30lbs.
• Work Environment: As a Server at The Triple M, you are one of the biggest factors in making our guests have a great experience at Mountain Modern. You will have direct interactions with our guests, and it is your responsibility to represent Mountain Modern in a positive fashion. This is the time to show your personality! Tell our guests your favorite activities in Jackson! Additionally, you will be performing a variety of job duties in a fast-paced environment. You can expect to stay busy for the entire duration of your shift. The Triple M features indoor dining for up to 125 people, picnic tables, fire pits, and a pool area, all of which you will be responsible for serving guests and keeping the areas free of plates, cups, trash etc. You will be working with a team of 2-5 employees on a shift. You will be responsible for proficiency in all areas of service including: taking orders, processing payments, making drinks and espresso, cooking food, delivering food, and keeping the restaurant clean. Your supervisor or manager will designate your job duties each day. Occasionally, there will be situations that may arise, with customers or otherwise, that you might not be able to effectively handle yourself. In these situations, you will be expected to seek assistance from your co-workers or management.
