York Water is hiring Hydrant Painters to help maintain our water infrastructure by ensuring hydrants are clearly marked and well-maintained. This is a seasonal position perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors.
What You’ll Do:
- Clean, prep, and paint fire hydrants to maintain visibility and functionality.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on hydrants as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Maintain records of hydrants painted and report any issues.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, carry, and use painting equipment.
- A valid PA driver’s license.
