Our high-volume restaurant is looking for a dynamic and flexible leader who can provide our diners with an exceptional experience. As restaurant general manager, you are responsible for creating a plan that maximizes our financial and operational goals. You will be able to recruit, hire, and train a staff who is passionate about delivering great customer service. The general manager needs to ensure that the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations. Our ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience managing a restaurant or similar role in the customer service industry. - Hold team members accountable by conducting performance reviews with them and using performance management
- Build restaurant staff through recruiting, interviewing, and training food service professionals
- Develop a clear plan for the restaurant that takes into account the market, local competitors, sales revenue, and expenses
- Deliver excellent quality of visitor satisfaction when dining in the restaurant
- Maintain food and dining product inventories and make precise projections about future sales trends
- Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with MS Office and other computer skills desired
- Must have previous experience in food service managing food inventory levels, operating costs, and budgets
- Must have 2-3 years prior experience managing a staff or in a relevant supervisory role, preferably in food service
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED
