Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated IT Intern to assist our IT department in supporting day-to-day technical operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This internship will provide hands-on experience in a variety of IT tasks, including API Development, software, hardware, and other duties assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in API development, testing, and deployment.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
• Provide technical support to internal staff by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Help with the setup and configuration of computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring the company’s network and security systems.
• Document and track IT support requests and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct regular system backups and ensure data integrity.
• Assist with software updates and patches.
• Support the IT team with projects and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Help maintain and organize inventory of IT equipment.
• Participate in the development and improvement of internal IT processes.

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Understanding programming languages (Python, Java, C , HTML)
• Prior experience with API development.
• Familiarity with NIST standards.
• Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and common operating systems (Windows, macOS).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and improve technical skills.
• Prior experience with IT support or an internship in a technical role is a plus (but not required).

Education Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

Preferred

• Programing Language Certificate (Python, Java, C )
• Microsoft Certification/Apple Certification

Safety

Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Manual of Safety Practices and Procedures.

Travel

Travel to job sites is required as needed.
