What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor position at The Ziegenfelder Company?
A Ziegenfelder Janitor is responsible for:
· Ensures clean and properly sanitized restrooms, breakroom, boot room and all areas outside of production and freezer.
· Complete janitorial duties as required. These tasks can include but are not limited to cleaning, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and sanitizing floors, trash removal, and maintaining interior and exterior of the building.
· Ensures all hand washing, sanitizing stations and bathrooms are always stocked.
· Perform other cleaning and general labor duties as assigned.
· Follow all instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
· Communicate to QA Manager/Operations Manager when there is a need to order supplies.
· Ability to have frequent changes of tasks, using different techniques and/or procedures, with possible variances in working conditions and physical demands.
· Properly documents all cleaning task.
· Must adhere to all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices, and established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures and all Food Safety policies.
