From the second a customer walks through the door to the last "goodbye" of the night, the General Manager takes point on customer experiences. Our ideal General Manager will know every customer by name, lead a strong team of motivated employees, drive sales, tightly manage accounts receivable, and promote our company values at The 422 Sportsplex.
Our General Manager :
- Exclusively works nights and weekends; overtime will be required during peak seasons.
- Proactively manages accounts receivable by engaging with customers to ensure on-time payment of league fees and open invoices.
- Delivers outstanding service by modeling and motivating staff to consistently interact with customers.
- Resolves customer service issues in a timely, professional manner.
- Motivates their team of coaches and front desk staff to strive for excellent performance resulting in high registration numbers and quality customer service; provides frequent feedback on their performance.
- Functions as the "Manager on Duty".
- Models and enforces facility standards for cleaning and safety.
- Logs accurate inventory and orders supplies as needed.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with customers and co-workers.
- Has a positive attitude and a strong work ethic - reflective of our company values.
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, client-facing sports facility.
- Strong time-management skills; ability to prioritize, organize and multitask; detail-oriented.
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- Prior management experience (3 years) required.
- 50-60K annually, based on experience.
