Responsibilities
Requirements
- Land- and water-based projects in and around animal habitats, including but not limited to plumbing, electric, mechanical, and construction
- Maintenance of property, buildings, equipment, vehicles, boats, floating docks, and in-water fences
- Seaweed removal
- Receive deliveries
- Recordkeeping for all projects
- Supporting Animal Care Staff with general needs including animal procedures and training
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift/carry 80lbs minimum
- SCUBA certification
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
- Ability to drive an outboard engine
