Through the iconic TKTS Booths in Times Square and Lincoln Center, and through TDF’s membership programs, the organization serves more than 1 million audience members per year.TDF’s theatregoing programs remove financial, physical and invisible barriers to attendance for the communities who need it most. These programs serve close to 50,000 audience members annually, particularly those impacted by hearing loss and deafness, vision loss and blindness, mobility loss, or by intellectual and developmental disabilities. Further, TDF serves 11,000 high school students every year and more than 150 community organizations, including veterans, seniors and other underserved communities. Our methodology includes both access to discounted / free tickets, and the curation of an environment at the theatre where audiences feel comfortable and safe, and can experience shows on their own terms.About the PositionThe Graphic Designer and Video Editor
is a key member of the marketing team at TDF and reports to the VP of Marketing and Communications. The position requires creativity, vision, and experience in print and multi-media graphic and video creation, development, and editing.Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Creating graphics and design layouts for print and electronic materials, including email blasts, brochures, flyers, website graphics, and more according to brand guidelinesManaging all aspects of video production, from pre- to post-productionMaintaining brand consistency throughout all marketing projects and materialsPresenting ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholdersWorking as an active part of the Marketing team, collaborating on all team initiatives, and providing support for events and special projectsTDF is a hybrid-onsite organization, and staff are encouraged to be in-office 2-3 days a week. This role is a hybrid-onsite position with flexibility for agreed upon remote work. The schedule is typically 35 hrs / week. Some evenings and weekends may be required.About you : Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design and videographyProficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Strong video editing skills using tools like Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere, as well as handheld editing tools like CapCut.Basic skills in handling lighting, sound, and recording equipment.Knowledge of some HTMLFamiliarity with social media platforms and management tools – Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, You Tube, and HootsuiteExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet project deadlines.Passion for the performing artsPotential candidates should have a strong portfolio showcasing graphic design and video editing skills.Compensation and BenefitsThis is a full-time permanent role, and the salary range is $75,000-80,000 per year.
