This role will set the strategic direction for our EHS program, ensuring compliance, driving a culture of safety, and leading a team of EHS professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic EHS program aligned with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Lead and mentor an EHS team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) and a data-driven approach to measure and enhance safety performance.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements within a heavy manufacturing environment (aerospace, foundries, automotive, smelters, etc.).
- Manage workers' compensation cases, risk assessments, and incident investigations to reduce workplace injuries.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to embed EHS best practices into daily operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline).
- 5 years of experience in industrial safety & environmental compliance.
- Proven experience leading an EHS team within a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in EHS management systems, workers' compensation, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to analyze safety metrics and implement data-driven improvements.
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
