Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead compliance efforts across five U.S. sites, supporting a total of 110 employees. This is a standalone role responsible for ensuring adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations while working closely with plant-level safety committees.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage corporate EHS programs and initiatives across all five U.S. sites.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations, including OSHA, EPA, FRA, and DOT requirements.
- Lead and conduct Management of Environmental, Safety, and Health (MESH) assessments, PSM/RMP audits, and PHA revalidation audits.
- Oversee environmental compliance, including Title V air permits, NPDES permits, and DOT-related permits.
- Complete and submit accurate and timely compliance reports for EPA, OSHA, FRA, and DOT.
- Implement waste minimization and emissions reduction programs.
- Collaborate with plant-level safety committees to drive EHS initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of EHS management experience within a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), Risk Management Plan (RMP), and regulatory compliance.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
- Certifications: Professional EHS certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) preferred.
- This position requires local candidates only.
- Travel to various plant locations is required (20-25%).
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
