Overview:
Seeking a Senior Engineer with expertise in solar power generation and battery energy storage. The ideal candidate will independently manage arc flash studies using ETAP and support system reliability across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform AC/DC arc flash analysis using ETAP
- Review and ensure compliance with arc flash study standards
- Lead root-cause analysis for equipment failures
- Assist field teams in troubleshooting inverters and other issues
- Support regulatory responses and failure rate analysis
- Contribute to capital part replacement plans and work schedules
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field with relevant experience)
- 5 years’ experience in the solar industry
- Proficiency in ETAP, SKM, PSSE, PSCAD, or similar tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of arc flash modeling experience
- Advanced skills in ETAP
