Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to lead a production team, including salaried staff and over 200 nonunion hourly associates. This role focuses on fostering a strong safety culture, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring consistency across all teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programs to optimize facility operations and asset utilization.
• Oversee safety, quality, service, and cost performance within assigned areas.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding labor strategies and capital investments.
• Drive continuous improvement through system, policy, and procedural enhancements.
• Partner with Human Resources to ensure fair and consistent policy application in employee relations matters.
• Align department strategies with overall company goals and objectives.
• Manage operating budgets and capital expenditure plans for designated areas.
• Build, develop, and retain a high-performing team to achieve departmental goals.
• Implement industry best practices and ensure proper training for employees.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of supervisory/management experience in food processing/manufacturing OR Associate’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and training skills.
• Proven ability to analyze and manage product and labor cost variances.
• Experience in high-speed food manufacturing is preferred.
