In this role, you’ll plan, create, and manage content across blogs, emails, video series, and social channels, driving brand awareness. Collaborating with Growth, Design, and Product teams, you’ll be the brand's storyteller, manage the content calendar, create resources aligned with barber needs, drive brand awareness, and more! Your expertise will be key in delivering impactful, high-quality content.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content Management & Distribution (40%)
Develop and execute content strategy for distributing content across newsletters, social media, and other digital channels.
Analyze the performance of distributed content and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and reach.Efficiently manage budget and content calendar to maximize impact and deliver content consistently.Provide regular updates to the company and align content goals with key stakeholders on the Growth team.Work closely with Social Media and Community functions to create content opportunities for the company.Collaborate with Growth, Design, and Product teams to align content with target audience.Content Production - Video (40%)Lead the creation, production, and management of high-quality video content that tells compelling stories and resonates with our target audience.
Oversee all aspects of video production, including concept development, scripting, filming, editing, and final delivery. Includes talent scheduling.Collaborate with Video Producer & Editor to produce engaging video content that aligns with our brand awareness objectives.Contractor Management (20%)Manage and coordinate the efforts of SEO specialists and content writers to ensure content aligns with our strategic goals and enhances search visibility.
Provide direction and feedback to contractors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to deadlines.Work closely with contractors to optimize content for SEO and drive organic traffic.THE SKILLSET
Content Strategy & Distribution : Proven experience in crafting and executing content strategies across digital channels, boosting awareness and engagement.Performance Analysis : Skilled in analyzing content performance and adjusting strategies to optimize engagement and reach.Budget & Calendar Management : Expertise in managing content budgets and calendars, ensuring timely, impactful content delivery.Video Production : Strong ability to lead video content creation from concept to delivery, including scripting, filming, editing, and talent sourcing.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Experience working with diverse teams to create aligned, resonant content.Contractor Management : Competent in managing SEO specialists and content writers, ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with strategic goals.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively conveying content plans and updates to stakeholders.Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with the barber industry and tech landscape, with experience in DTC or B2B SaaS environments.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
