Join Our Video Production Team!
We’re building a contractor pool of talented Video Production Assistants to support our upcoming shoots across multiple cities. We need a reliable group of videographers, production assistants, and sound techs in each region who can step in as needed.
Cities & Project Breakdown:
- New York City, Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago
What You’ll Do:
Assist with video production, including camera operation, lighting, and set prep
Support the lead videographer (Alan) in executing creative shots
Handle live sound duties, such as:
- Riding levels on a mixer to ensure clean audio
- Holding a boom pole to capture dialogue
- Setting up and monitoring lavalier mics for on-camera talent
Work on-location for barber-related content, interviews, and branded shoots
Help transport, set up, and break down production equipment
Capture high-quality b-roll and behind-the-scenes footage
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in video production, live production sound, or assisting on set
Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of lighting, framing, and dynamic camera movements
Live sound experience (mixing levels, boom operation, mic setup) is a big plus
Reliability and availability for flexible shoot days
Bonus: Experience with drone operation or post-production
