Responsibilities :
Collaborate with the Sales team during pre-sales activities to effectively convey the technical advantages of our client's products.
Design and develop reference implementations using our client's semiconductor chips and modules.
Assist customers with design reviews, device bring-up, chip integration, and troubleshooting of hardware and RF components.
Create, document, and maintain hardware and software that demonstrate the capabilities of embedded systems, with a primary focus on wireless LAN.
Engage with both internal and external customers to comprehend specific use cases and convert them into detailed technical requirements and documentation.
Provide support for design and development activities to both internal teams and external clients.
Support customers across the Western US region.
Travel as required to meet customer needs.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a relevant field as a Field Application Engineer.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
Proficiency in embedded C programming.
Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and familiarity with Linux development environments.
Strong knowledge of wireless hardware and RF characteristics.
Understanding of IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi protocols.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a methodical approach to work.
Ability to produce clear and comprehensive documentation.
Comfortable interacting with customers both in person and through virtual meetings.
Collaborate with the R&D team for effective issue resolution.
Work closely with the sales team to secure design wins and foster new business relationships.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time based on customer needs.
