IT Operations Manager

Job Description:
As the IT Operations Manager, you will be the driving force behind Theisen's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless and efficient technology operations. You will lead the planning, implementation, support, and management of our infrastructure design and operations, meeting both current and future organizational needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Combination of education, training, and experience considered.
- 5 years' experience in enterprise Data Center Infrastructure.
- 2 years' experience managing technology teams.
- 10% travel with some weekend support required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage enterprise infrastructures, remote connectivity, critical systems, and cybersecurity.
- Assess system performance, recommend improvements, and serve as internal technical advisor.
- Develop and monitor budgets for cost-effective technology solutions and vendor management.
- Maintain hardware, operating systems, databases, and software.
- Ensure effective user-experience support across the organization.
- Manage, mentor, and grow IT support personnel.
- Maintain meticulous recordkeeping and documentation.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Experience with computer systems ranging from mobile devices and desktops to virtualized and cloud hosted server environments including Microsoft and IBM iSeries systems.
- Experience with programming, maintenance and design of enterprise networks including network switches, NAS, wireless access points, enterprise firewalls, and structured cabling.
- Experience with endpoint security products, enterprise backups, network security products, and security practices.
- Experience with VoIP telephony, network video and audio, access control systems, enterprise mobile devices, and other IoT networked devices.
- Retail experience with cash register equipment and understanding of PCI Standards is a plus.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Superior organizational, analytical, time management, project management, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supervising, coaching, and training subordinates.
- Excellent leadership skills including enthusiasm, courtesy, and empathy.
Physical Demands
Frequent physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, dexterity, and light grasping. Occasional physical demands include lifting up to 25 lbs. individually and 75 lbs. with assistance, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, squatting, climbing stairs and firmly grasping. The employee is required to accept incoming calls and must be able to hear and speak. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision adequate for the incumbent to perform the responsibilities and functions of the job efficiently. The associate must have the manual dexterity to manually operate and use a computer and other basic office equipment.
Work Environment and Working Conditions
This position will be performed inside a climate-controlled office facility. The noise level is low to medium and typical of an office environment. Potential hazards include electrical hazards. Atmospheric conditions are typical of an office environment and may include exposure to odors and dust.
