Position Summary: As our Landscape Design Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our creative process, supporting our design team in transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary landscapes. You'll be instrumental in bringing our clients' dreams to life, from concept to completion.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Create stunning CAD-produced layouts and plans that captivate our clients' imaginations.
- Craft detailed base maps, innovative designs, precise materials takeoffs, and compelling proposals.
- Conduct on-site measurements and elevations, ensuring our designs perfectly fit each unique landscape.
- Collaborate closely with our Landscape Designer, prioritizing tasks to maximize efficiency and creativity.
- Participate in crucial meetings, from initial consultations to final presentations, showcasing our designs and progress.
- Uphold and enhance Theiss Landscape Works' reputation for excellence by adhering to our proven processes.
- Provide vital administrative support, maintaining impeccable project files and assisting with reports and invoices.
- Be ready to tackle additional duties as they arise, demonstrating your versatility and commitment to our team's success.
Qualifications:
- Education: While a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or a related field is preferred, we value passion and potential above all.
- Computer Skills: Demonstrate mastery of essential software (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) to streamline our operations.
- Career Aspirations: Show an insatiable appetite for growth and advancement in this dynamic field.
- Experience: Previous experience or internships in landscape design are a plus, but your enthusiasm and potential matter most.
- Driving: Possess a valid driver's license and meet our company's insurance policy requirements.
Skills:
- Must be able to quickly learn and excel in design software (e.g., Pro Contractor Studio, Pool Studio, Adobe Creative Suite) and Microsoft Office.
- CRM Experience: Prior experience with CRM software is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Plant Knowledge: Demonstrate a robust understanding of hardiness zones 7-10 plant materials, innovative landscape design principles, and cutting-edge construction methods.
- Communication: Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with our team and clients.
- Analytical Thinking: Showcase superior analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with an eagle eye for detail.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
