Wellcom is looking for a Freelance Production Designer to join the team.
There is the possibility of full time hire with benefits after a 3 month trial period.

Typically this is a hybrid on-site position.
YOU ARE:
A self-starting, scrappy individual who brings expertise and passion in a high-volume production environment. You are ruthlessly efficient and are happy contributing to a multitude of projects. You will help us grow our ever-expanding Studio, collaborating with a tight-knit and talented cross-functional team.
You are/have:
- The Production Designer will report to the Studio Manager and work with our Creative Production Studio made up of image editors, and account managers, working closely with our clients.
- Assist in the design, creation and/or edit of Print ads, Out of Home advertisements, Brochures, and Static Digital executions.
- Able to take a project from start to finish - from supplied layout/concept to final production, and delivery of assets.
- Create final assets to be delivered to printers following industry specifications.
- Manage client print requests, using and maintaining (2) Epson P9000’s.
- Some hands-on studio work required, some mounting and trimming of proofs.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, flexible and helpful, able to multitask, self-starter.
- Able to export assets to the client DAM portal.
- Maintain proper file structure and approach allowing for future adaptations.
- Able to work under pressure and under deadlines, with strong follow-through abilities.
- Have a positive, polite, and professional attitude. This is an on-site role at a prestigious agency.

Experience:
- Design and production background with design aesthetic.
- 2-5 years of agency or studio experience.
- Love of all things visual: typography, layout, and composition.
- Collaborate with clients to create high-quality designs and final deliverables.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
