We are looking for an experienced and skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager to take a hands on leadership role in our production operations. In this role, you will ensure our manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, all while maintaining top-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills to guide a diverse team and drive continuous improvement in the manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the manufacturing process, including production planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Supervise, mentor, and train production staff, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and best practices.
- Monitor key production metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain to optimize processes.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies related to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Prepare regular reports on production performance for upper management review.
Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
- Experience with CNC programming.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and expertise in continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
- Proficient in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze data effectively and make informed decisions to drive operational success.
