The Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing a diverse portfolio of projects and investments within the organization. Key Responsibilities
· Portfolio Strategy Development:
· Collaborate with senior management to define the portfolio strategy and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
· Identify and prioritize projects and investments based on strategic importance and potential return on investment.
· Performance Monitoring:
· Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of the portfolio.
· Conduct regular portfolio reviews and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
· Investment and financial analysis through financial modelling
· Resource Allocation:
· Analyze resource requirements for projects and allocate resources effectively to optimize portfolio performance.
· Ensure that projects are adequately staffed and funded to meet their objectives.
· Risk Management:
· Identify potential risks associated with projects and the overall portfolio.
· Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact on portfolio performance.
· Stakeholder Engagement:
· Communicate portfolio performance and strategic decisions to stakeholders, including executives, project managers, and team members.
