About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Proposal Specialist experience in proposal development and RFI/RFP responses, preferably in public sector. This role reports to the Sr. Proposal Manager and will be responsible for monitoring bid sites, finding RFPs, responding to RFPs/RFIs, tracking responses, content storage, and creating a smooth cross-functional proposal process. Additional responsibilities could include assisting with creating demo sites, creating sales/marketing collateral, assisting with sales operations, and/or business development activities, depending on the individual and their desired career path.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of the RFP response from checking procurement sites for RFP releases, submitting questions, writing winning responses, and submitting the bid responses
- Understand the product and stay up-to-date with the latest product releases
- Ensure CRM is up to date for RFP tracking
- Assist with Statement of Work creation
- Work closely with the Sr. Proposal Manager for other RFP initiatives
Qualifications:
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in managing and responding to RFIs/RFPs, preferably in the public sector
- Experience in registering, managing, and monitoring state/local government procurement sites
- Enjoys working with sales teams and providing support
- Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to pivot (if necessary) and navigate change gracefully
- Capable of building cross-functional relationships
- Able to work in a team environment, as well as independently
- Efficient in completing tasks and highly detailed oriented.
