We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Assistant Director to support the daily operations of our child care facility. Responsibilities
- Assist the Director in overseeing daily operations of the child care center, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.
- Collaborate with staff to develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote learning and development.
- Support the recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff members to maintain high standards of care and education.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and families, providing regular updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding child care standards and safety protocols.
- Monitor classroom activities to ensure adherence to curriculum goals and objectives.
- Participate in community outreach efforts to promote the center's programs and services.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Applied Science, Education Administration or a related field from an accredited university is preferred.
- Proven experience working with students in a child care or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and development.
- Knowledge of higher education teaching methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
