Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will assist in various farming operations, ensuring the smooth running of daily activities on the farm. This role requires a passion for agriculture, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Assist in planting, growing, and harvesting crops in accordance with seasonal schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Utilize forklifts for transporting materials and supplies around the farm.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Support garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, watering, and pest control.
• Apply basic math skills for measuring ingredients or calculating areas for planting.

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Experience with farm machinery operation and basic equipment repair.
• Knowledge of growing techniques for various crops and plants.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for performing calculations related to farming tasks.
• A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and ability to work long hours outdoors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 80 per week
