Job Description
As a Medical Director at Theoria Medical, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to residents in skilled nursing facilities.
You will collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage day-to-day resident care and provide comprehensive primary care services by rounding on patients residing in SNFs.
Key responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients with acute illnesses and chronic diseases, as well as participating in quality improvement initiatives and programs.
Additionally, you will be expected to utilize electronic/online medical tools, such as EHR systems and state/county medical systems, to document patient information and complete administrative functions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Board certification in a relevant medical specialty
- Licensure in good standing
- Experience in post-acute or primary care settings
- Strong leadership and communication skills
