Job Summary
The physician plays a critical role in providing high-quality patient-centered primary care services to residents in skilled nursing facilities.
This position offers a unique opportunity for physicians to serve as attending physicians, collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, and manage resident care on a day-to-day basis.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with acute and chronic illnesses, utilizing electronic health record systems and other medical tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rounding on patients residing in skilled nursing facilities to provide comprehensive primary care services
- Collaborating with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage resident care
- Diagnosing and treating patients with acute and chronic illnesses
- Utilizing electronic health record systems, such as ChartEasy, for provider documentation
- Participating in Theoria's quality initiatives, including Chronic Care Management, Transitional Care, and RPM programs
- Leading the charge in healthcare innovation and shaping the future of post-acute and primary care
Shift Structure
Flexible shifts are available, depending on the physician's schedule. Typically, attending physicians work 1-2 days per week at each facility they oversee, with flexible rounding times and no set start or end time.
Care is covered by Theoria's virtual care team.
Compensation
Approximate annual compensation ranges from $50,000 to $400,000, depending on employment status and availability (PRN, Part-Time, Full-Time).
