Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a Java Developer with solid experience in core java and API development. The ideal candidate will have US Citizenship, as security clearance will be needed. Responsibilities:
- Be part of a hybrid waterfall/agile team within a Linux/Java/Spring environment.
- Work on an outdated java 2 application that encrypts and decrypts SSN's.
- Decompiling, fix old code and rebuild the application using Java 11/17 .
- Handle version control, check code in and out and create branches
- Environment and technologies: Java, Linux, Spring, SOAP and REST API, Oracle/SQL Server, Gitlab, Bitbucket, source code.
Requirements:
- 5 years of Java Development experience
- Spring Framework experience
- Good experience with SOAP and REST API development and consumption
- Strong API Development experience (REST)
- Experience decompiling code and working with source code
- Ability to use version control, check code in and out and create branches
- Familiarity with Linux
- Able to be onsite in Fishers five days a week

- Fortify SSC or vulnerability remediation
- Extreme or expression by Opentext
- JIRA
