Job Description:
Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a Procurement Analyst to add to their growing team located in Indianapolis. Our client is seeking an individual to partner with business customers to bring competitive advantage and innovation through the sourcing and management of suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- By understanding business requirements, analyzing spending data, and investigating the marketplace, the Procurement Analyst develops category strategies for optimal value. These strategies are implemented via competitive bid process, online auctions, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
- Network, interact, influence, and impact all levels of senior management within IT
- Travel: <10% for supplier/partner visits and industry workshops and conferences
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business including Finance and Supply Chain or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 1 years of Information Technology or Sourcing Experience
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and/or negotiation skills
- Ability to understand and negotiate contract terms and conditions
- Ability to influence at multiple levels of management
- Strong business acumen “business of Information Technology”
- Ability to manage competing commitments and deadlines
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate internally and externally
- Project Management experience
