Title: Senior Mold Tool Maintenance Technician

Job Overview:
This position is responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and changeover of injection molds, as well as the fitting, setup, and startup of new injection molds and components.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on mold tools.
- Fitting and assembly of new tools and inserts.
- Perform mold changes and maintenance; ensure mold tools are ready to meet production schedules.
- Recommend changes and enhancements to procedures and equipment to improve efficiency.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
- Mentor and train new hires.
- May perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Technical Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding and experience with mold tool construction and maintenance.
- Basic math skills, including knowledge of shop/mechanical mathematics.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and 3D models.
- Ability to comprehend and retain technical verbal and written instructions.
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of tool making, assembly, and fitting experience.
