Setting : Critical Access Hospital, Labor and Deliver / Pediatrics Unit / Level II nursery Duties : Attend vaginal deliveries if requested, Attend all scheduled and emergent C-Sections, admit / discharge newborns, admit / care for pediatric patients, circumcisions, Days per month : 7 days per month Required Procedures : Circumcisions, newborn resuscitation / intubations / UVC , lumbar punctures Support Staff : Nursing team. Level II nursery nurses, anesthesia, obgyns, Respiratory Therapists, local pediatricians to consult with, NICU located in Bismarck (90 miles) with consulting physicians. Admissions per day, Patients / day, Types of cases, Disclosures that may need to be made, etc. - 2-3 EMR : Meditech Requirements : Active unrestricted ND License Active AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, & NRP certifications Board Certified / Eligible Full-time coverage is mandatory—no deviations from the requested schedule will be accepted.
