TheraEx Staffing Services - APP is seeking a Physician Assistant Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens job in Yuma, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery Discipline : Physician Assistant Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours Employment Type : Locum Tenens Job Details :
- We need a PA or NP that specifically has experience managing post-op cardiothoracic surgery patients in the ICU and telemetry floor. They also need operative experience in assisting the surgeon as well as radial artery and endoscopic vein harvesting skills.
- Hemopro system for harvesting.
- Cardio OR (Cardiovascular Operating Room), Level 2 trauma
- Required : EVH Harvesting, ICU Management, Stepdown Management, Office Visits, Database Entry (i.e. STS), Open Radial Artery Harvest, & Endoscopic Radial Artery.
- Willing to Train - ICU Procedures (Chest tube insertions, Central lines, etc.)
- Shift details : Days, 8 hr or 10 hr.
- EMR : Epic
- Client may cancel hours equivalent to the weekly guaranteed hours for the assignment 36, 40, or 48 for a 13 week assignment. For all 26-week assignments, the cancellation policy will be doubled. Requirements :
- Active unrestricted AZ License
- Active ACLS & BLS certifications
- First Assistant in Surgery Certification
- CVOR Experience REQUIRED
- 3 years of experience
- Board Certified
