We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery .

Duration and Employment Type

This is a locum tenens position with a duration of 26 weeks. The employment type is full-time.

Job Details

  • Pay : $130 per hour
  • Coverage dates : ASAP - 3-6 months, with an option to extend
  • Setting : Hospital and clinic settings

Daily Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following :

  • Inpatient rounding
  • Operating room (OR) procedures, including pulling epicardial wires, chest tubes, vein harvesting, and first assist
  • Radial artery harvest experience

    • Schedule and Call Schedule

    The candidate will work Monday through Friday, with a schedule that includes OR procedures and inpatient rounding. The call schedule is 1 : 4 rotation between providers, with weekdays and weekends covered.

    Requirements

  • Active unrestricted Oregon license
  • Active ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Board certification
  • Vaccination requirement : Required with booster

    • A minimum of two supervisory references are required.
