Job Summary
We are seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a temporary position in Hood River, Oregon. The successful candidate will work with adult and geriatric patients in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting, Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day.
Job Description
The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for assisting licensed physical therapists in providing patient care. This includes :
- Conducting exercises and treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist
- Assisting with patient transfers and mobility
- Providing basic wound care
- Documenting patient progress and treatment plans
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A valid Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license is required, along with CPR / BLS certification and a COVID-19 vaccine card.

Working Conditions
The Physical Therapy Assistant will work in a LTC setting, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. OT is available, and the EMR system is Nethealth. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
