Job Summary:
The Receptionist/Aide at Therapaedic Physical Therapy, Inc. will be the first point of contact for our patients, managing front office responsibilities and assisting with patient care. Reception Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Answer and manage phone calls, check voicemails, and conduct follow-up calls.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, effectively managing the clinic calendar.
- Manage patient check-ins/check-outs, including payment processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk and waiting area.
- Address patient inquiries and provide information about our services.
- Use EHR software for scheduling, patient records, and communication.
Chiro/PT Aide Duties:
- Assist physical therapists and chiropractors in preparing treatment rooms and equipment.
- Support patients during therapy sessions by setting them up on prescribed modalities and guiding them through tasks as directed by clinicians.
- Ensure treatment areas are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
Qualifications:
-Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
-Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a receptionist, preferably in a medical or clinical setting.
Skills:
- Proficiency in answering phones, managing voicemails, and conducting follow-up calls.
- Experience with scheduling and patient check-ins/check-outs.
- Basic office automation computer skills (email, printers, scanners, PC & tablet computers)
- Ability to learn electronic health records and practice management technology
- Familiarity with Simple Practice EHR software is a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy work environment with a positive attitude.
- CPR certification is preferred

Pay: $16.49 - $19.49 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
