Job Summary:
The Receptionist/Aide at Therapaedic Physical Therapy, Inc. will be the first point of contact for our patients, managing front office responsibilities and assisting with patient care. This full-time position offers a fulfilling opportunity to enhance patient experience and contribute to clinic efficiency.

Reception Duties:

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Answer and manage phone calls, check voicemails, and conduct follow-up calls.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, effectively managing the clinic calendar.
  • Manage patient check-ins/check-outs, including payment processing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk and waiting area.
  • Address patient inquiries and provide information about our services.
  • Use EHR software for scheduling, patient records, and communication.

Chiro/PT Aide Duties:

  • Assist physical therapists and chiropractors in preparing treatment rooms and equipment.
  • Support patients during therapy sessions by setting them up on prescribed modalities and guiding them through tasks as directed by clinicians.
  • Ensure treatment areas are clean, stocked, and ready for use.

Qualifications:

-Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

-Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a receptionist, preferably in a medical or clinical setting.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in answering phones, managing voicemails, and conducting follow-up calls.
  • Experience with scheduling and patient check-ins/check-outs.
  • Basic office automation computer skills (email, printers, scanners, PC & tablet computers)
  • Ability to learn electronic health records and practice management technology
  • Familiarity with Simple Practice EHR software is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy work environment with a positive attitude.
  • CPR certification is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.49 - $19.49 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
