Job Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-time (part-time may be considered), on-site role as a Teacher for the Blind or Visually Impaired located in Chesterfield County, VA. The B/VI Teacher will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students with blindness or visual impairments in a school setting. Daily tasks include creating lesson plans, implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), assessing student progress, and collaborating with other educators and professionals.
- This is a full time, contract position for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year (part-time may be considered)
- 37.5 hours/week
- Applicants must already be licensed or be eligible to be licensed by the Virginia Department of Education

Qualifications
- Special Education Licensure with Vision Specialism
- Teaching experience preferred
- Background and criminal history check
- Case management duties
