Therapeutic Focus is a family-oriented outpatient pediatric therapy clinic seeking a highly motivated, passionate, coachable, tech savvy and creative Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. Our mission is to alleviate cognitive and developmental deficiencies in children by providing safe, ethical and individualized treatment services that will prepare them to thrive within society. We provide school-based therapy to students in the Shelby County School District (Memphis, TN)
We are currently looking for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist for the 2024-2025 school year in Memphis, Tennessee.
We desire to fill the position as soon as possible.
Qualifications
•Graduate of an accredited school
•Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
•Basic Internet navigation skills
•Valid state and national license (where applicable)-Occupational Therapy
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Ability to understand and prepare moderately complex written materials, such as patient records.
• Ability to communicate verbally with Associates, physicians and other outside professionals.
• Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment.
• Ability to organize multiple tasks and projects and maintain control of work flow.
Key Job Responsibilities
•Performs student assessments.
• Implements patient treatments based on assessment and written plan.
• Attends IEP and 504 Meetings
• Provides ongoing patient assessment through observation of patient and review of records.
• Identifies patient specific therapy rehabilitation learning needs and provides appropriate education.
• Demonstrates initiative in identifying opportunities for self-development and enhancement of professional competency.
