Key Responsibilities:
- Mucking Stalls: This involves removing manure and soiled bedding from horse stalls using shovels and other tools.
- Cleaning and Disinfecting: Ensuring stalls are clean and free of debris, and disinfecting surfaces as needed.
- Water and Feed Management: Refilling water buckets and ensuring feed bins are stocked.
- Barn Maintenance: Assisting with general barn upkeep, such as sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies.
- Horse Care: Depending on experience, you may be involved in basic horse care tasks like grooming or assisting with feeding.
- Reporting Issues: Observing and reporting any animal health or safety concerns to the appropriate staff.
