Sales Development Representative Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities within school districts and charter schools through cold calling, emailing, networking, and attending industry events.
- Nurture long-term relationships with prospects, and work to transition leads into sales meetings or demos.
- Support Account Executives and other team members in converting leads into new clients.
- Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track and manage sales leads and prospecting activities.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities for future sales.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure a seamless process for placing qualified candidates in schools and districts.
- Effectively communicate Point Quest's products and services to prospects, highlighting how they address client needs.
- Prepare sales materials and presentations for prospective clients, ensuring they are aligned with client goals.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and appointment-setting goals.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems to track progress and ensure timely follow-up.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training to improve sales skills and knowledge of Point Quest's services and solutions
Sales Development Representative Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: knowledge of the K-12 education or special education field (SLP, OT, PT) is highly preferred.
- Clearances: DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with standard software applications and the internet.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Personal Qualities: Reliability, dependability, and flexibility are crucial.
- Other: Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical Demands:
- Environment: Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes.
- Activity: Frequent engagement in tasks such as reaching, handling, standing, walking, and lifting items.
- Sensory: Ability to perform essential job functions with or without assistive devices or accommodations, including working in moderate to high noise levels.
