RESPONSIBILITIES : \n \n \n
Mammography Techs are specialized healthcare professionals who use medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of the breast tissue. Mammography Tech job responsibilities include, but are not limited to : \n \n
- Mammography Techs operate the mammography equipment, positioning patients correctly for the imaging procedure \n
- Review patient images and ensure that all images are of sufficient quality for diagnostic purposes \n
- Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure \n
- Perform breast ultrasound and other breast-imaging procedures \n
