RESPONSIBILITIES : \n \n \n
Operating Room Technicians (ORT) e nsure the presence of all instruments, equipment, and supplies necessary for procedures . ORT\u00a0 inspect s\u00a0 instruments to ensure all required items are available \u00a0and\u00a0 performs surgical scrub technique and gown and glove procedure for self and surgical team . ORT j ob responsibilities include, but are not limited to : \u00a0 \n \n

- M aintain a sterile field and\u00a0 take \u00a0immediate action to correct any breaks in technique \u00a0 \n
- Perform specimen reconciliation and care for and identify specimen s \u00a0 \n
- ORT assist\u00a0 with procedure room turnovers and close-of-day activities \u00a0 \u00a0 \n
- D ocument patient-care records and other forms according to facility policies and procedures \u00a0 \u00a0 \n \n \n
