Therapia Staffing is currently seeking a CFY Speech Pathologist (CFY) to fill an opening with a school district located near Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidates should have reliable forms of transportation.
Speech Pathologist CFY
- 2022 – 2023 school year
- Full time | Monday-Friday | 37.5 hours/week
- 1-2 years minimum of school experience
- Masters in Speech Pathology or equivalent out of state license with good standing
- Out of state Speech Language Pathologists and new grads are welcome to apply!
Responsibilities of the Speech Pathologist CFY:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 students
- Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
- Assess students with speech or language disorders, identify disorders, and determine eligibility for services while working with SLP.
- Determines speech and language goals and objectives.
- Provides appropriate individual and group therapy to students consistent with speech/language goals in the IEP.
- Maintain records for the purpose of providing written documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Evaluate student progress and determine readiness for termination of therapy services.
- Travel between sites, as assigned, to perform therapeutic activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
