We are currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Insurance Billing Specialist for our early intervention agency.
The person filling this role MUST have knowledge of Southern Nevada insurance carriers. Knowledge of therapy (SLP, OT, PT, TCM) is a plus.
This position does allow for the flexibility to work from home.
Job Duties include, but not limited to:
- Weekly posting payments from all revenue portals (must be put in as EOB date, not check/payment deposit date)
- Weekly write offs (stick to those write off code table)
- Weekly mail pickup for insurance reimbursement EOBs
- Weekly report runs for possible data entry errors including claims submitted
- End of month inputting of claims paid on state invoice
- Denial tracking spreadsheet creation and maintenance minimum weekly
- Tracking system for state requests to resubmit or bill claims/service logs
- Participate in regular update/collaboration meetings w/ other billing staff & ownership team
- End of month data report w/ breakdown of denied claims, paid claims, TCM, and claims pending as well as data on reason for denied claims (pie graph preferably) and recommendations of improvement to be reviewed by supervisors at the next month ownership meeting
- Oversees PA contractor
- Credentialing, medicaid enrollment assistance and regular CAQH tracking of all new staff
Requirements:
- Experience with insurance billing
- Knowledge of prior authorization process
- Experience/knowledge of provider credentialing
- Solid knowledge of Southern Nevada insurance carriers

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
