Now Hiring: Cardiac Sonographer / ECHO Tech
Location: Devils Lake Clinic, Devils Lake, ND
Pay Rate: $80 - $85 per hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Day Shift (No Call)
Position Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Cardiac Sonographer / ECHO Tech to perform diagnostic imaging and assist physicians in providing top-notch care to patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Cardiac Imaging: Produce high-quality echocardiograms by setting up, operating, and adjusting ultrasound equipment.
- Assisting Cardiologists: Help with procedures like transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and dobutamine stress tests.
- Data Analysis: Perform computer analysis and accurately calculate echo data, ensuring the cardiologist’s preferences are met.
- Patient History Review: Gather relevant clinical information, including patient history and symptoms, to ensure accurate exams are performed.
- Patient Education: Provide appropriate education to patients regarding procedures, within your scope of responsibility.
- Collaboration: Communicate with cardiologists and healthcare staff regarding patient exams, clinical changes, and findings.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Licensed as a Sonographer with the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (Temporary ND license accepted prior to start).
- Certification: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), prior to start.
- Experience: Previous experience performing echocardiograms preferred, with a solid understanding of cardiac anatomy and pathologies.
