Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans to improve patients' mobility and functionality.
- Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to help patients achieve physical rehabilitation goals.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to provide holistic, patient-centered care.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, techniques, and safety measures to aid in recovery.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of treatment sessions and patient progress.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistance
- Current California PTA License
- Experience in skilled nursing preferred, but not required
- Compassionate, patient-centered care approach with strong communication skills
