Job Summary
Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg and play a key role in patient care. You’ll work under the supervision of the Unit Supervisor/Manager/Director, ensuring high-quality treatment through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role requires compassion, critical thinking, and leadership in guiding both patients and ancillary personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments
Educate patients and families on treatment, medications, and self-care
Adhere to infection control, medication administration, and patient safety protocols
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professional nursing standards
Requirements:
✔ Experience: 2 years in Med Surg (Required)
✔ Floating: Experience in ICU or PCU (Required)
✔ Certifications: ACLS (AHA) & BLS (AHA) (Required)
✔ Licensure: Active Michigan RN License (Required)
✔ COVID Vaccine: Required (Exemptions allowed)
