I can offer 2-5 patient visits per day, primarily in Modesto, with some patients located within a 15-mile radius. Compensation is $85–$100 per visit under 1099, depending on travel distance.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans to enhance their functional abilities.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform treatment strategies and facilitate recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
- Educate patients and their families on techniques to promote independence in daily activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy through continuous professional development.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health principles and practices.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques as they relate to therapy planning.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facilities or home health settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of geriatrics and the unique needs of older adults is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in both inpatient and outpatient clinic environments.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient cases efficiently.
