As a BCBA, you will conduct diagnostic evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct support to clients and their families in a community setting (homes, preschools, daycares, etc).
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and analysis.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients in a community setting (homes, preschools, daycares, etc), ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including parents, educators, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic support for clients.
- Train and supervise staff in the implementation of behavior intervention plans and data collection methods.
- Regularly assess client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on data-driven outcomes.
- Advocate for clients' needs within the community and provide resources for families.
Experience
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques and behavioral health practices.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation related to behavioral interventions.
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
